Happy New Year!

Welcome 2013!   I hope all of you enjoyed your holidays!  I know we did here.  I especially always like the sparkle, bling and lights during this time of year.   I was especially excited to see the challenge for this week at ABC Challenge Blog is for anything sparkly!   I think it's perfect for this time of year.

The sketch is from SCS "My Favorite Things" #101.   It worked perfectly with this used SU! Set I just got.   Isn't it cute?   I've wanted the "Very Merry" set for awhile and finally decided to post an ISO just to see if someone had it sitting in their closet not being used.  Sure enough, the very same night I got a message back from a lady who was sweet enought to sell to me and ship it the same week.   I especially like the Angel stamp and look forward to playing more.
The sentiment, "May Your Merry be Very"!

Yippee

Well, it's not "winter" here yet but it's definitely starting to feel like "Christmas".   I love all the holiday lights and the Christmas Cards.   I'm especially HAPPY because my boys are coming home from college on holiday.   I'll actually get to have them here for next couple weeks and that's nice.

I was doing some cleaning out this week
and I went through some old magazines
that I had tagged for ideas.   This card
is a CASE from one of those pages I had
marked.  This is from Paper Crafts
2006 Holiday Cards.  It was perfect idea for
this week's Challenge at ABC Challenge Blog -
paper piercing.  It's not something I do often but
I like the look once it's done.   I hope you'll come
and play!

Oh No ... Snow

So Far we've been fortunate and have not seen any white stuff yet here in Northeast Ohio ... but coming soon.  As a matter of fact,  they even mentioned it in the weather forecast for today.  Ugh!  While I like "snowmen" for card images,  having to slog through snow and ice during the week for work just isn't fun.  I think Snow is for Children, LOL!   Well,  today,  we're celebrating snow and snowmen at ABC Challenge Blog this week.   I think because I was born in January I'll always have an affinity for snow.

This FUN image was sent to me by Jeannette for our UnIdentified Image Swap at SCS.   I'm sad to say that I can't remember where I got the sketch from so I'll have to come back and update here once I figure it out.

It's a CUTE CASE

Fa-La-La!   Doesn't it feel like it's time to Christmas carol?  I found a great radio station in my area that plays all Christmas music and it's been fun to hear all the tunes of the holiday.   I also really enjoy making holiday cards and this one was especially fun as our December SCS Crafty Girl Challenge   was to go to any of the SCS Crafty Girls March Blogs and "CASE" a card.  It was SO hard to pick one.  All of them have AWESOME choices :)   I ended up selecting this one.   I'd tell you whose gallery it's from but the Crafty Gals are supposed to guess, LOL!  (but, pssstt...if you're just absolutely wondering, check it out here).  So Crafty Gals,  Post your Guess then come back and check it out.   The Crafty Gals are ALL Posted on the Blog Roll to the Right and I hope that you'll check out all of their CASE Choices.                                         Supplies:  CTMH Pear & Partridge Paper, CTMH STamps Pear & Partridge, CTMH Ink New England Ivy, CTMH Holiday Button Assortment, CTMH Red Sparkles, CB Border Embossing Folders, Misc Twine & Red Ribbon

Merry Christmas Sparkle

Well, Cold and Rainy Sunday makes for a GREAT day to finish Christmas Cards :)   Woohoo!  Not only are mine done but so are the ones I made for my Mom.  For some reason this year I seemed to struggle but once I just sat down and started stamping, it came together and I have 4 designs,  I'm sure she'll like all of them.  I think this is the one she's going to like the most.  IRL it is very sparkly as I used Stardust Spray on the tree with Diamond Stickles.  The ruffled ribbon is some CUTE stuff I had from Maya Road.  I really need to look for some more as it's always pretty when added to a card.  I picked up these buttons for my Christmas cards and they're very shiny and fun.   It's a good day because it's Monday and that means it's time for this week's ABC Challenge Blog.  I hope you'll play along this week as all things that sparkle.

Happy Holidays!

What a relaxing Thanksgiving Day & Weekend.   I'm an "online" shopper so I added my few dollars to the economy via online and everything should be shipping and on the way.  I also supported my local "small business" Saturday w/ an order of new stamps, LOL!    Much easier process since most of the retailers offered "free shipping".   Gotta love that option.   I'm really working on my CAS efforts.  I really made this card for my Mom's holiday cards as I thought she'd enjoy this one but my DH reminded me she really likes "traditional" colors.  Very true so I'll be mailing this one which is just fine with me as I like it!  I just might make more of these ... LOL!

This week's ABC Challenge was "Anything Goes" Card and for me it's time for holiday cards.   Be sure to stop by and share with us your creations for this week!

A Walk in the Park

It was a Beautiful November Day and since it was 54 degrees it was just too nice of a day to not enjoy a great walk in the park.  Our walk today inspired me for my card this week for the ABC Challenge.   This week's challenge is to use Old Olive - Pumpkin Pie - Chocolate Chip.   What GREAT colors for this time of year!   If you're creating some holiday cards, be sure to join us at the challenge blog for some fun!   I hope you have a wonderful holiday week!   My card
uses CTMH similar colors - Olive - Sunset and Chocolate.  This pretty new stamp is called Bountiful Season.   I embossed the image with copper embossing powder.  It has been awhile since I've got out the heat gun,  that was fun!  I'm also showing off my new Dark Chocolate striped ribbon.

Supplies:   CTMH Paper Pear & Partridge,  Sunset CS,  Stamps Bountiful Season, Ink Versamark, Copper Embossing Powder, Dark Chocolate Striped Ribbon,  Green Assortment Buttons, Brown Sparkles,  SU Top Note Die

Holiday Magic

It's time for the annual "hunt for the P-E-R-F-E-C-T  holiday card, LOL!   Every year I make several different designs.   I go through a process of "no...no....enhhh....maybe....no ... possibly ..... maybe...ok...yes!"   It really is a process.  Some years it's fun as there are several possibilities and some years it painful as one card after another, is put in the stash and the hunt goes on.  It's all good though.

Here is another that's definitely a possibility.  I do like this one and will make a few of these to send although I realize I don't have very  many green buttons and that's one of my favorite parts of this card.

This cute sketch was this weeks ABC Challenge Blog challenge for this week.   I hope you will have some time to come and play!   Check out the other ABC Challenge Blog DT cute holiday cards using the sketch!

Double Duty

Welcome to November!   I always like the "blessed" feelings that come knowing Thanksgiving is very soon.   Fall colors and sweatshirt temperatures are some of my favorite so I was thrilled when this week's challenge at ABC Challenge Blog allowed me to come up with another fun "fall-like" card.   It was a fun Tic-Tac-Toe choice and I chose:  Green Cardstock - Twine and Leaves.   If you get a chance, be sure to come join the fun!

Today, as the 5th of the month is also our SCS Crafty Gals Blog monthly blog hop.  This month Jacque challenged us to post a card that listed our "Fall Blessings",  to share what we're thankful for.   As I looked through my stamp sets as soon as I saw these cute little birds, I knew this was perfect for this month's challenge.   I'm very thankful for all the support I get from my family and friends!  It's always good to know they are there for me!   Be sure to check out all of the other SCS Crafty Gals (listed in the list to the right) Thankful challenges!

Prime Time Fall

Today we just couldn't resist spending the day enjoying 60 degree temps, sunshine and beautiful Fall colors.  It felt like the PERFECT  Fall day.   We went out to a pumpkin farm, picked apples and enjoyed a walk along the river in the park.  I think Fall is one of my favorite seasons.   This week is a new beginning for me as I've been invited to join the DT for ABC "All Beautiful Cards" Challenge Blog.   Our challenge this week is to use something "new" - technique, tool or idea.  This card includes some new Halloween Washi Tape and I used my new Leaf Die.  Be sure to come and play along with the fun challenges Patty has planned for everyone.   We love to see what you create!     Check out the "New" Inspiration from the other DT Members:

Happy Place

Hello from Memphis, TN.  This week I'm here for a couple days of meetings.   Looking forward to seeing some team mates I haven't seen in a while and hearing about some new processes we have coming soon!  It's all good.    This sentiment seemed so appropriate for this week as I'm really trying to pay attention that life is good right now and to enjoy it.   This cute card was from some Basic Grey paper that was PIF'd to me and I wanted to use it for a last "Hooray to Summer".   I cased this card from a "favorite" over at sb.com.   I hope you are enjoying a "happy place" this week.   Enjoy!

coffee anyone?

brrrr....it's getting chilly here in the evenings as Fall has arrived w/ all the beautiful color it can bring!  I love Fall.  I don't mind the chilly nights either ... it does however put me especially in the mood for afternoon Pumpkin Spice Latte's from Starbucks.  Yes, I'm one of those people that love the Fall menu and crave the pumpkin.  (Gasp!) I heard last week they had a momentary shortage ... but so far they've had supply when I've stopped.

This cute image was sent to me from Terry as it's our SCS UnIdentified Image Swap for October.  Isn't she cute?  she's from MFT, 'a la modes Miss You a Latte.   The sketch is from Raise The Bar Challenge #114.   This week Paper Players #116 challenge is "cup of joy" ... this does it for me!

miss me?

Unfortunately for the last week I've been without a computer, mine crashed.   It was not a good thing and it felt like it put me way behind for work but fortunately the Tech Support Guys were able to get it fixed and I'm feeling happy that I'm back to the world of "online".

I actually made this card for my nephew as he was stationed in another State and I kept forgetting to ask for his address.   I was writing him weekly while he was in Basic Training.  I think he'll be happy to get cards and letters again.   At least he'd written he liked them?   This Cute Stamp was PIF'd to me,  isn't it darling?  I made one of these cards for the gal that gave me the stamp too!   This cute sketch is this week's retro sketch #32

Golden Days

Today was a beautiful "Fall" day here in NE Ohio.   It was cool at night, warm and sunny during the day.  The golden hues were so lovely today.   We're not seeing color yet because we haven't had a drop below 32 but I would bet it's coming soon ...  Today's card was inspired by this week's Freshly Made Sketches.  When I saw the background stripes I knew I wanted to use this My Minds Eye washi tape.  I just couldn't resist getting it and have been wanting to use it and these colors were inspired by the beautiful day we had today!   Enjoy!

Sending Hugs

Lots of layers on this card!  These cute colors are in the adorable Basic Grey Paper Cottage I just got to finish a cute layout of my kitty Moo helping me in the garden.   The left overs were just too fun to throw away so I decided to use those on a challenge card for sb.com.   The stamp is from AMuse Studio and it's called "woohoo for you".   Isn't she sweet?    The rest are Cricut cuts from my new CTMH Artiste Cartridge.

This card is for my friend Dot who I walked with yesterday in the March of Dimes Annual Charity Walk.  Her DGS was one of those kids on the poster that needed the NICU when he wsa born.  It made it very special to raise money knowing it helps great kids like Blake.

Happy Place

well ... since the paper was still laying on the desk,  I decided to do this week's Friends That Scrap Card Sketch with the Authentique paper I had out.   I'm not sure why this paper was marked for quick sale at PC's but I really thought the colors were cute and I'm glad I'm using it and it's not just sitting collecting dust ... LOL.  I used my CTMH Artiste Cricut Cart to cut the bird & leaves.

Missing You

I'm very excited because this week I will get to visit my youngest son at college.  It's been almost a month since I've seen him and I'm happy to get the chance for a visit.   This cute sketch is this week's Friday Sketch Challenge and was selected for our CYAO #33 at Paper Secrets.    Unfortunately it's another week of strange stuff to use for the challenge (LOL!).   I chose a digital stamp, watercoloring and the corrugated paper for the 3 challenge items.  I actually didn't have any of the other items so my choices were limited but I thought the stamp was fun.   I found the free digi stamp at Craft Gossip.    Tomorrow I'm walking in the March of Dimes Walk in Akron so wish us good weather.

Autumn Greetings

Back with another Fall card ... after all,  I'm playing "catch up".   I don't know what I was thinking but it just dawned on me yesterday that we're half way through September and I was still playing with butterfly and flower stamps.   If I didn't hurry up and get out my Fall faves,  I'd miss the fun.  These leaf stamps are absolutely some of my favorites.   I'm pretty sure I say that every time I use them and post but they really are cute leaves.   I'm thinking about getting the current A*Muse Studio leaf stamps since I always enjoy when I get these out but I'd better hurry up or I won't be stamping fall cards, LOL!   This sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches #48.   This week is pick any past sketch since it's their 1 year Birthday!  Woohoo!  I picked 3 that I liked the most so I'll be back with another card soon.   Enjoy!

boo to you!

As usual, this weeks' MOJO Monday #258 was a GREAT Sketch and another fun selection for Paper Secrets CYAO Week #32 Challenge.   At least this week the challenge items were more "normal" card items and I was able to make several of these cards for mailing.  Usually when they pick weird items to use, I make only a single card and since I need several per week for mailing,  that doesn't help efficiencies, LOL! I really love how this one turned out.   I got these cute Halloween stamps last year from AMuse Studio and only used them a couple times.   I'm definitely behind on "Fall" stampin' as I was still enjoying my sunshine and butterfly stamps.  Better get busy with leaves and fall holidays.    Thanks for stoppin' by,

It's all Scrappy ...

Oh SO Happy it's Friday Night!  What a good feeling to get through the week and still have some energy on Friday for scrappin'.   I actually started out to look for a card sketch idea and came across a great blog site for scrappin'.   The challenge was to use scraps for this page which I did and follow the sketch.  I grabbed a few scraps from the top of the printed paper bin and put them together, dug through the PIF box and found the butterflies that had been sitting there.  I even found an old package of Thickers and some CM phrase stickers to round it out.   The best part is I had a 1 page spot in the scrapbook (I scrap chronologically) that this page will fit beautifully!  All good.  If you get a chance, check out the Great INspiration I found at this week's challenge on ClassyGirl.com.

Supplies are all miscellaneous scraps :)

Gorilla's -- Wild!

Fun -- fun!   I've actually scrapped some of my Cincinnati Zoo Gorilla pictures but these seemed just perfect for the Paper Secrets SYAO #33 sketch (pg 1).   Another week of crazy stuff to add for the challenge but it seemed to work for these pages -- feathers, bingo card, 7+ papers, chipboard letters altered and I used both technique challenges - stencil background and dry embossing.   These cute papers are from the BoBunny Zoology line.  I'm sure I'll use them up,  we go to lots of zoos!   I really like how the stencil background came out too!

Back to Basics

Today is one of my favorite days of the month -- the 5th for our SCS Crafty Girls Blog Hop!  WooHoo!   Unfortunately, this is not the card I wanted to show off today.   I'm   s-t-i-l-l   traveling and I must have photo'd my card and switched camera cards because it's no where to be found.   Our challenge this month was to use punches in creative ways!  What a great challenge and I can't wait to show you the card I did.  How fun to add more than one.  I can admit that the first punches I ever owned were CM Square and Circle Punches and I held out what now seems like forever with just those punches only.  I still use them constantly especially the circles.  What was your first punch?   I must also admit I now have a large collection of punches and most of them are well used,  especially the edge punches.  Crazy Fun :)   This card sketch is a Mojo Monday Sketch.

For the Love of Scrappin ...

ok ... so DH was the one who came up with the title for this post.   He said that it absolutely had to be all about the hoops I jumped to get this page done and posted for the deadline tonight at Paper Secrets SYAO #31 Challenge, LOL!   I've been really swamped moving my Mom this last week and every time I sat down for a minute and thought about scrappin',  I'd fall asleep so...unfortunately it got to the deadline day for the page.   Today was her Retirement Party so ... I had to get this done before 0900 this morning.  If you know me at all,  you know I'm NOT a "morning person" and trying to get this page done before I went off to work was truly "challenging" not to mention being on the "road" I had limited supplies for a tough layout.   Well, this is my last Prom Page and I will go back and add the quote I want included but it's good it's done.  I'm now sitting at a B&N using not only their WIFI but also the plug as my camera battery died and I couldn't upload the picts earlier .... aahhh!   Done is Done!

New Direction

I'm on the road this weekend moving my Mom to a Retirement/Senior Center.  I looked back at all of the previous CYAO and grabbed the main items we've always used and wouldn't you know, this week,  they changed!  LOL!   Of course, it made this card a little challenging but it's done.   This is for the Paper Secrets #30 CYAO Challenge.   I just hated to get this far and not keep going so I just made it work.   This was a terrific sketch from MOJO Monday this week and I hope to go back and do it justice.

I hope everyone enjoyed Labor Day!

Just Because

Today I called for someone at work and instead of getting the person I called for I talked to another work friend of mine.   It's been awhile since I talked with her.   Last year her husband passed away of a terminal illness so of course she went through a tough time.  Today's conversation was fun and pleasant.   I just didn't want to ask "So, how are you really?" but I was thinking it.  I decided that I wanted to send her a card and just let her know that I recognize it's probably still tough adjustment and just because I didn't bring it up didn't mean I wasn't thinking of her.   Sometimes at work difficult situations seem so much more complicated to talk about but it's still "life" ... KWIM?   So this is for Debbie and it's really "just because".   This sketch came from SCS Verve Challenge for this week.

Supplies:  All A*Muse Studio - Paper Gingham & Shimmer Damask Lime,  French Roast Shimmer,  Latte Woodgrain,  Stamps Just Because,  Papillion,   Ink French Roast, Lime, Fern,  Lime Satin Ribbon, Just Blooms Flowers,  Green Assrtmt Buttons,  Pearls Sugar

Good Kitty ... Bad Kitty

This fun layout is for my SYAO challenge page this week over at Paper Secrets.  It's an August PageMaps Sketch.  I've been wanting to get my Kitty picts on a layout and this week I found this adorable Reminisce "Cat" Paper.  Too cute!  I loved the colors and was glad I could use them for this week's challenge page.   Our cats (Moo Moo & Kitty) are crazy about each other and we didn't even get them together.   We had Kitty first and it took her about 3 monthes to warm up to Moo Moo but now they're inseparable.   They're hilarious, one minute they're cuddling with each other and the next minute they're hissing at each other.   Too fun, guess that's what "family" is for.   Of course,  I had to make a 2nd page to go with the first .... LOL!

Wow...7 Days Later?

Hey Bloggin' Friends -- THANK YOU -- for stopping back by this week!  I can't believe it's been a whole week since I've posted?  Where did the time go.  I'm going to have to do better on that.   Well,  tonight I've completed this week's MOJO Monday #254 with some "blue" scraps I dug out for the Twisted Tuesday "feeling blue" challenge & the polka dots are for the Perfect Sentiment Challenge.   It wasn't all scraps because this is the first time I've had out the petite polka dot paper -- how CUTE!    We used the MOJO sketch as this week's CYAO inspiration over at Paper Secrets week #28.  It's all good and hopefully this week it won't take me so long to post again?!   Stay Inspired!

woot woot!

This is my first year that I don't have kids going back to "school" ... well high school or grade school.   College starts about the same time but when you're at that point you get yourselves ready to go, LOL!  I guess though a card from your Mom cheering you on is fun.   I didn't really have what I thought were "back to school" stamps but hopefully my boys will enjoy this one.  I came up with the "Back to School" card idea from the challenge over at Twisted Tuesday, started with this week's Freshly Made Sketch and  picked "Red, White & Blue" for the challenge over at A*Muse Studio Challenge.   Here's what I came up with.

Stay Inspired!

make a wish

well...I really didn't want to make a Birthday card but I need a sentiment with numbers for this week's Paper Secrets CYAO #27 challenge and I couldn't come up with another idea.  It's really late and I should already be in bed for church tomorrow but I wanted to get this sketch done.   I'll work on coming up with something else tomorrow.   This one as they say,  is "done" and "done is good".    This is also this week's MOJO Monday  Sketch.  I already have another idea to use this for so I'll definitely have to work on that as well.
Enjoy your Sunday!   *** adding for Sunday ***  I'm much happier with this version

Take Time to Smell the flowers

Ahhh, the sweet smell of hot summer days.  It's enticing to all of us.  Today is the day we get to show off our Cards for the SCS "Unidentifed Image Swap".   Every other month, the hostess stamps an image and sends it to us for us to color, come up with a card and return.  In exchange, we get to keep the 2 extra cards we made plus get 3 in return.   It's a really fun idea.  I wanted to do more coloring and this is definitely pushing me to work on those skills.   I do not have any House Mouse Stamps so this was fun.  The Sketch is MOJO Monday #247.   All supplies used were from PIF Items which is really fun to use to get the stash moving.   Stay Inspired!

Sharing for Sunday Night

#1 -- I love how this layout turned out but #2 much of the fun was in creating it.   I did a "Progressive Challenge" over at SB.Com.   Every 15 minutes the hostess gave us another list of items to choose from for our page.   My favorite part is the Button Tree.   My tree was cut from the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge and the stamps are "Bless this Nest" which I thought was cute for this page as it's my DS and GF at their new apartment.

Inspired by Butterflies

My wild flowers are finally starting to really come out and the butterflies love them.  Next year I don't plan to put my wildflowers up by the house because they just take too long to come out but...I will find a spot for them.   My card today is inspired by the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.  What a cute one!  I hope to use this sketch again soon as that SU! Top Note die is one of my faves.  The inspiration over at the A*Muse Studio Challenge blog was for ribbon, a button and a flower and I used my favorite A*Muse paper and color - Burano for the "girly" challenge over at Perfect Sentiments this week.   I hope all of you enjoy some sunshine and butterflies this week!   Stay Inspired!

Supplies:  A*Muse Studio Paper Latte Woodgrain, Burano Venetian Patterned, French Roast Shimmer,  Stamps:  A*Muse Studio sunny side of life,  A*Muse Studio Ink Fern, Burano, French Roast,   A*Muse Studio French Roast Button,  A*Muse Studio Burano Satin Ribbon, A*Muse Studio Blooms, A*Muse Studio Chocolate Twine, A*Muse Studio Diamond Glitter,   MS Petals Punch,  SU! Party On

Happy August 5th!  It's time for our SCS Crafty Girls Blog Hop for this month!  I always look forward to our hop as the themes and crafty items that come from these ideas are GREAT!   This month's theme was from Carolina and she came up with the inspiration for us to celebrate her son's Birthday's with Animals, LOL!   Since I needed a card for my nephew,  this worked just perfectly for me.  The challenge this week on the H2H Blog was to use scraps and it worked perfectly with the sketch from CPS

In the Nest

It's another week for the Paper Secrets CYAO Challenge, woohoo!   I can't believe it's week 26 ... good for us.  Always good to have more inspiration for cards.   I love it when the sketch is the MOJO Monday sketch as I always enjoy the inspiration from their site.  This week was no different and I do want to use this sketch again soon.  I loved they had hearts on theirs but as I put my card together, it took a different turn getting it done.   I'm pretty sure my Blog and Card friends might get tired of seeing the SU! "For the Birds" stamp, haha!   It's just so cute ...

Hello Birdy!

LOL!  As soon as I saw the new SU! Catty in July I knew I wanted the "For the Birds" set on pg 34!  I think all of those birds are so cute and I liked all of the stamps so of course when Sally called to say that my order had arrived,  I rushed to pick it up this weekend.   This card is going to be for my swap card with the fabby gals I've been swapping with for several years now over at TopSUSwaps!  It wasn't exactly how I pictured when I started but I like how it ended up!     My card also gives me "Tic Tac Toe" over at the Paper Players challenge this week!  How fun is that?

Supplies:   All SU on this one.   Paper:  More Mustard, Soft Suede, River Rock, Very Vanilla,  Stamps:  For the Birds,  Ink:  Choc Chip, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie,  Embosslits:  Buttons,  Emboss Folder: Fancy Fan,  Ribbon:  Stitched River Rock

So ... tick, tick, tick ... the clock is moving quickly toward my youngest son moving out this weekend.  What a strange thought.   Tonight he taught me and my DH to Skype, LOL!   We will miss him but understand the benefits of going early as he's hoping to get a job.   This card is for this week's CYAO23 Challenge over at Paper Secrets.   It's an old MOJO Monday #126 Challenge sketch.  I struggled with the layout but it finally came together.

More Holiday Spirit

Happy Stampin' and Scrappin' Saturday Blog Friends.   It's a perfect day to kick back at the Stamp/Scrap Desk and create some fun stuff.   My MOJO is present and lots of good inspiration from this weeks Blog Challenges.    The Gals over at AMuse Studio Blog are celebrating the new Holiday Catty coming with a Christmas in July Challenge.   Good time to get out some scraps from last year and come up with a card.  I used the CPS Card Sketch for a starting point.  My card needed something and I found inspiration at the Twisted Tuesday Challenge from the Holiday Pick 2 list -- I chose Twine & Charms.

Stay Inspired!

Happy Bird-day

well...not yet but I wanted to get my Mom's Birthday card done early.  It seems every year I'm either rushing, shipping it FedEx (close by since I work there) or sending it late.  This year I'm pleased to say it's done and ready to go!   Yay,  I just might be on-time.   I'm worried because we're busy moving my son to college the weekend before her special day so it's a good thing to have this card done early.

The colors were selected for this weeks The Paper Players Challenge - Lucky Limeade, Calapyso Coral and Daffodil Yellow.  Fortunately for me I had some DSP scraps of these colors thanks to my SU! Demo who invited me to her Open House and shared.   It was a little more tricky to add the yellow but it's in there.  My Mom likes bright colors so she will enjoy this.   I used the birds from an older SU! stamp that was out on my desk since I'm going through an unmounting project.  The sketch is from this weeks iSpy Sketches #23.  It worked great for the scraps I had to use.   Happy Bird-day to my Mom!
